Peptide Reconstitution Calculator
Pick the syringe scale, the peptide mass in the vial, the volume of bacteriostatic water and the amount you need per draw. The ruler then marks the volume to draw.

The arithmetic
Concentration equals the peptide mass divided by the water volume. So 3 mL of water on a 10 mg vial makes 3.33 mg per mL. Draw volume equals the amount you entered divided by that concentration. It is shown in mL and in units on a U-100 graduated syringe, where 100 units make 1 mL. The ruler redraws for the syringe you pick: 30, 50 or 100 units.
For solvent choice, technique and keeping the solution, see the reconstitution guide.

Frequently asked questions
How does the calculator work?
First it works out concentration in mg/mL: vial mass over water volume. Next, the amount you typed is divided by that figure. The result is the draw volume, given both in mL and as U-100 syringe units.
What does U-100 mean?
It is a syringe scale where 100 units equal 1 millilitre, so one unit is 0.01 mL. The fine marks make it practical for measuring small liquid volumes at the bench.
Can I use the calculator offline?
Yes. It is an installable web app. After one visit you can add it to your device, and it then opens without an internet connection.
